ATAA Congratulates Istanbul Fenerbahce SK

The ATAA Congratulates Istanbul football club, Fenerbahce SK, who advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2008 European Championships after beating Spanish side, Sevilla.  Fenerbahce came back from 3-1 in Sevilla, to score in the 80th minute to make it 3-2, and draw level on goals at 5-5, based on Fenerbahce's 3-2 victory against Sevilla in the first leg match in Istanbul.  The 5-5 score did not change through an intense two 15-minute extra time periods.  In penalties however, the Turks kept their nerves, and Fenerbahce and National side keeper, Volkan Demirel (Ironhands) blocked three Spanish attempts and Fenerbahce won 3-2 on penalties and 8-6 aggregate.
