Dear Friend:

Today, we are writing to appeal for your support and help for the Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA). Like all organizations, the ATAA has also been negatively affected by the global pandemic and is seeking support from community members like you.

Since its founding in 1979, the ATAA has made remarkable strides in representing the interest of Turkish Americans, Turkish culture and heritage in the USA. Over the past 41 years, ATAA has fought effectively against hostile ethnic lobby groups aiming to distort our history and defame Turks.

Today with your support, ATAA has become the most prominent umbrella organization in the US representing more than 50 local Turkish American associations across the US.

It is ATAA’s mission to strengthen and promote better coordination among Turkish American organizations, promote core values of secular democracy, human rights, and rule of law, and define the identity of Turkish American community around these values. These are also the founding principles of our motherland, the Republic of Turkey, as defined by its founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

We would like to fulfill our mission with your help. Your support enables us to continue building a stronger, more influential Turkish American community that can advocate its interests.

As an independent non-profit organization, ATAA’s sole financial resource is membership dues and donations. ATAA does not receive any financial support from government or non-governmental organizations. We are grateful to our members and friends for their many years of support that helped to secure ATAA as a robust, independent, productive, and efficient organization.

Between now and December 31, we are asking for a special year-end contribution to the Assembly from our members and friends to raise funds that we need to take on the responsibilities of the year ahead.

ATAA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law!
